What kind of single coil pickups were used in the 1996 version Lonestar Strat along with the Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates HB?

I'm quite sure that the pickups on your 1996 Lonestar are similar to the 2000-2003 American Texas Fat Strat, which would then mean your single coils should be Texas Specials.

That's what I thought and is what I'm hearing from everyone. Just needed confirmation.
Thanks!

The only way to tell is look at the color of the wire wound around the pickup itself. If the wire looks purplish they are Texas Specials, if it's a bright copper color it's just regular MIA pickups.

They are for sure Texas Specials.

Are the Texas Specials only Custom Shop, or are there plain Texas Specials?

That is a big myth going on. The Texas Specials are all the same.
When they sell them separate they put a Custom Shop sticker on them.
When they come in a guitar they do not have the sticker on them.
Its the same pickup, both have went across my bench and they are identical.
They are made in USA and they all have the same coil wire, Alnico 5 magnet rods.
fiber bobbins and vintage style wax coated wires.
