Always liked that song . Not many choose to perform it in that particular style. Works well.

Ni-ice, one of my favorite songs, done at dusk Live from the Luana Lounge! :D

You got great fluid phrasing my brother, Ray Charles would be proud of you and lesser mortals want to be you!

That was written by Hoagy Carmichael & Stuart Gorrel in 1930, song has "legs".

I know, like everybody, you get tired of the same old same old now & then but hold on to THAT GIG, it could be a lot worse. 8)

Gotta FAVORITE you on the youtube. Creating a base, one..fan..at..a..time..

Roger that!! Last time on the Big Island...October 2003. Volcano House and Four Seasons Kona. The overlook and its wooden fence, the parking lot on the southwest rim of Halemaumau, both history now thanks to that new vent. Took me 55 years to finally make it there. Fortunate to have video recorded that walk out. Tempest fugit fer sure.

Rock on, mate :!: Don Ho never played the blues. 8)

Nothing like a good set of musical genes. If you look at the writer's of 'Blueberry Hill' you'll find the name of my paternal uncle Larry Stock.
My paternal grandmother's[Larry's mother] sister had three daughters. One of them, gave birth to a son who was to coin the term 'rhythm and blues.' His name was Jerry Wexler. 8)

That is awesome.. Yah being around music all my life with family and family friends truly did leave its mark on me and my taste etc.. It's really true about genes though.. I good friend of mines is Sherwood Ball and he's an amazing singer, songwriter and musician.. He is the son of Ernie Ball and the brother of sterling Ball who runs Ernie Ball and MusicMan now.. I am a endorsee (artist) signed under Ernie ball and musicman and I've gotten to know a lot about their family.. And evidently there great great grandfather or something of that nature was the guy that put the music together for "when Irish eyes are smiling." Amazing genetics..
