agree...this particular guitar sounds average thru the clean channel...but hold on to your socks...it sounds great with full distortions and blasted thru a stack...not my kind of music but sounds great with hard rock and metal...was surprised...trying to find other guitars like this to get feedback...

Are you familiar with the lyrics to the country song "Closing Time"? Ever see a photograph of Marilyn Monroe out of makeup? There was one beautiful woman. Get the point!

If your guitar sounds average in clean mode, its an average guitar. no matter how you dress it up. However, if all that hell-raising is what you're looking for, by all means......it's a GREAT GUITAR...and a one off looker to boot. A nice touch would have been a vintage, through body, hardtail strat bridge.

Regret having come across as unkind. It was not my intent. In fact, THAT design was one of several possibilities for me to have the Custom Shop do, as well as a Jaguar with humbuckers and a hardtail vintage strat bridge. They beat me to it.

If you enjoy making your kind of music with that guitar, who am I to disagree. I simply addressed the pure question. You would be surprised as some of the sorry 'state' looking guitars great music has been recorded with.

Roger that!. Even nicer on the video. It wasn't clear that the CS built it until the headstock was revealed.
