Basically what you've done, particularly with the awls, is use the principle of mechanical elevation which is one of the time tested procedures in exodontia. The 'wedging' action of the tip of a root elevator between bone and the side of the root creates a force resultant which moves the root outward. Glad to have been of help.:wink:
