I now own a Ritchie Blackmore Strat. I avoided the guitar before because I told myself I don't like some of the features. But as time passed I became increasingly interested in trying one.

Easy bending. Real comfortable neck. Frets look bigger than vintage to me however. Duncan SSL-4 pickups give a thick, chunky sounds that still sounds single-coil.

I'm even liking the black plastic more and more.

Try one out. They're excellent.

Congrats and enjoy!
I absolutely love my Blackmore. You are right about the frets, they look bigger than vintage and they almost look like they have a good part of steel as well. They definitely differ to the normal vintage frets.

All the best,
Robin

Yeah, we want to see them.

And tell us about the scalloping.

On the bass side the scallops become noticeable on the 9th fret. On the treble side the scallops become noticeable right away from the 1st fret. I may post a photo of the guitar, but when it comes to photos I am quite lazy.

I got it alright. No doubt about it. I took a photo and was going to upload it and I'm looking for an add attachment button but there is none. Do I gotta use Photobucket and then post an URL?
