Looking to buy a good chorus pedal .. you know, something with huge, warm sound to complement my strat and BF amps.

Any recommendations, thanks.

TC Electronics makes a very good quality traditional chorus.
Strymon makes a slightly unconventional chorus pedal that sounds amazing and is extremely high quality.

BOSS made a very unique pedal back in the day called the Digital Dimension that I do not believe has ever been successfully copied. There were a couple of versions. One with rotary dials and one with push buttons. The knobs are better but either will sound good. If you can find one on the used market you should jump on it quickly. This pedal does chorus-like fx but the kicker is that it does it without the shimmer and/or warble. You can put a lot of chorus in your signal chain without getting that oscilating in and out of phase sound. You likely won't find one priced under $200 if it's in very good shape but I'd still jump on it. Best chorus ever made in my opinion. I bought mine in the mid 80s and I doubt I will ever part with it. I don't use a lot of chorus anymore but when I do it's the BOSS. I have the Strymon as well and I would use it if I needed a really wide range of options on the chorus.

I'm a fan of the MXR analog chorus.

Yes.

FYI, since you're reasonably new here with only a little over a hundred posts ... when you see words in red it's not the words of Jesus like in some Bibles. If you roll your mouse over those words it's usually a link. If you scroll back up to my post you will find 3 links, one for each of the pedals I mentioned. The pic below is a couple years old now but it shows my Strymon and my BOSS together on the same board. I grouped those pedals for a particular gig and I was going to use two different chorus sounds. One subtle and one extreme.

In fact I've just acquired my first computer recently

And yes, I admire your pedal board, it must be very versatile :D

Well since you want suggestions, Eventide is pretty high quality for all modulation effects. The don't have a stand alone chorus pedal. Chorus is included in their ModFactor pedal, that also has Phaser, Flanger, Rotary, Vibrato, Tremelo and other effects in the one pedal. I juat got an Eventide H9 which lets me download every effect they make into the one pedal and control it with an IOS device. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet, I hope to give it a test drive this weekend.

That Eventide H9 looks pretty sweet, pitty it doesn't have pure analogue bypass like their other pedals otherwise I would have probably spent the $500 today. It comes with impressive effects, is pretty small and looks good doing it.

The H9 has three bypass options, buffered, true bypass and DSP/FX. They say in the manual that the true bypass uses relays for a hardwired connection.

I'm rather interested in stand alone unit than a multi effect kind of thing.

Went thru all the phases and got rid of many .. the last one being roland VG8/VG88

Drew thanks for researching it, I wonder why they don't specify that on their web page as they do with their other pedals under the "specification" section. Now I'm going to get me one of those H9's. Best I download the manual to see what else its capable of.

I have also been interested in stand alone units only, but even then that still amounts to a large pedal board. I am trying to scale down and I have gotten as far as having a TCDarkMatterDistortion, TCPolyTune and DeluxeMemoryMan left on my board, but the DeluxeMemoryMan does not offer enough sonic range in delay, chorus and vibrato and I would like a flanger too. There are other multi modulation/delay pedals out there but "true bypass" was lacking from them. That's why I am interested in the H9. OTOH With the size of the DMMan I could fit a dedicated chorus and delay pedal side by side, but having the other added effects is neat.

Wow that Ola Pedal is amazing and paired with the El Capistan gave me goosebumps. Beautiful sound.
