Donnie...FYI. Here's 50's wiring applied to a Stratocaster. The diagram is from Premier Guitar/ http://www.premierguitar.com/articles/G ... ratocaster . You can check out the article for the differences in tonality.

Yeah I was saying that I think Seymour Duncan came up with that though right?
Sorry I was at work when I typed reply and I have to be short there.
I came home got a sinus infection I think but I been beating it down,
the meds just knocking me out though and I am a machinist so cant be drowsy.

Anyway I was saying I do know of it but it is just modified to apply to a strat,
its really a Gibson application though right?
I mean Fenders have always been wired one way.
I did wonder about it but I think I will just stay standard Fender.
I am throwing that cap in today if I revive from being so drowsy later though/
I finally got me an aged peal white pickguard and plastics for my Floyd strat.

I got it thrown in its kind of more passive like 50s wiring.
I just installed it standard.
Interested to hear it turned up tomorrow at rehearsal.
