I might ask for one for Christmas, I really loved it when I played it, but I wanted to hear from people that have played it before or owned one.

Please and Thanks!!

When I tried one out, I didn't care much for the feel of the neck (felt like I needed bigger hands to play it comfortably), otherwise it looked great and had a nice sound to it.

Indeed. The specs indicate a normal C-shape neck, but that is not the first time I have heard it described as a handful. Perhaps it is the 12 inch radius, which I would have thought increased its attraction, as a comparatively unusual appointment for a Fender.

Currently, you also have the controversial choice of a two-point trem on a so-called 60s spec instrument. Like the new American Standard it is equiped with pressed steel saddles, supposedly for more Fender twang...

Polyester finish might put some folks off.

The fundamental question: is it a modern Strat with a hint of the 60s about it, or a 60s-ish Strat with several very modern "player friendly" appointments? Up to your taste if you like the recipe - but it's certainly a handsome instrument.
