Will playing heavy rock or metal on my Fender Standard Stratocaster with single coil damage my amplifier?

Why would it? What kind of amp do you have? I crank my VHR 57 all the time without any problem. You know when to dial down.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Is a machete made of heavy enough metal to justify the name for a guitar amp?

Two Rock already has that one. Maybe Fender should have been 'boulder'.

The Machete is not only a headbanging metal monster, it can also produce some very nice clean single-coil tones!
