I Have a 2001 MIM Strat in Agave Blue, well I need a neck. If I can't get my hands on a 2001 MIM Neck, then what other strat necks will work? Will any year model MIM strat neck fit perfectly?

You might want to stay away from the three bolt necks if your neck is a four bolter.

It shouldn't be too hard to find a replacement neck for that. Are you looking to go maple or rosewood or ?

Hi dr8nfarley,

Fender is now selling new MIM necks at a decent price.

http://www.fender.com/search-results/?q=neck&focus=store&page=4

Or check the other pages for a MIA neck.

Also, don't forget about licensed Fender neck's from Warmoth, Mighty Mite, and Allparts. Another option for you to use.

Thanks for all the help everyone! I think I'm gonna go with the Maple Replacement neck from Fender.com

A wise decision IMO.

It will arrive with a Fender headstock decal installed, sparing you the ignominy of trying to scrounge one from some unscrupulous source.

Rawk on!
