How come the American Deluxe Strat with a maple board comes with a traditional nut, but rosewood boards have the LSR?

Thanks.

My maple board Am Dlx has a roller nut.

Hello

It is actually only the American Deluxe HSS that has the roller nut installed on both maple and rosewood. The American Deluxe SSS has the bone nut on both maple and rosewood as far as I know.

Cheers,
G

Sorry, my bad, apparently all SSS guitars have the traditional nut, I was looking at two different series. Are these still routed HSH style as before?

YEP and there's Fender's response with their newest addition which precisely sports that particular pickup layout: a N3 noiseless pickup flanked by two ferocious, huge-sounding MODERN TWIN HEAD humbucking pickups.

This guitar can be regarded as the giant of the series!

Twinhead is Fender's designation for their humbucker.

This guitar should be floyded for sure!

One explanation was their agreement with Floyd Rose ended in 2005.

Don't despair! If you fool around eBay, you'll certainly find those locking bridge assemblies.

Only the SSS models came with a regular nut - both RW and MN versions.
