You might get more responses on the Fender Forum's "modern amps (1985 to current)" page instead of the Strat page.

The Princeton 65 was a decent solid state amp. Nice spanky cleans, somewhat "artificial" overdrive sounds. (I actually liked the distortion sounds on the Dynatouch amps a lot more than the "drive" and "more drive" sounds on the Hot Rods, but I really dislike the preamp distortion sounds on the Hot Rods so that's not saying much.)

$175 is a high price for one. Looking at eBay completed auctions, clean ones are commonly available in the $90 to $130 range. Make sure the footswitch is included -- they're electronic and regular passive footswitches won't work (the ones on eBay included footswitches, so what I'm saying is if the seller will bargain with you, maybe offer him $125 or so but only if the footswitch is included).

edited to add: I'm assuming you're correctly identifying it as a Princeton 65. If it's a '65 Princeton Reverb Reissue, buy it as quick as you can (although for that price, a '65PRRI would have to be broken and need major repairs, or else the seller doesn't know what his amp is worth).
