having some issues with the supervee bladerunner on an MIJ strat
cant get the E [treble] and D saddles forward far enough forward to intonate correctly -

old bridge - note tape on pickguard indicating correct intonation position
Image

new bridge - moving the saddle forward toithe intonation point would put the screws into the split between the mount plate and the bridge plate
Image

measured from the 12th fret you can see my problem - the saddle is right up on the screw - with the S-vee the saddle screws are off the edge of the bridge plate and into the trench
Image

any one else seen a similar issue with this type of trem ?

Forget the position of the saddle, check the intonation of the string with a tuner.

that is where i picked up the issue - had the BR already in and guitar strung up - couldnt figure why the E wouldnt come up to pitch at 12th - could not get it forward enough to get it right - the harmonic was ringing above 12 - then i pulled it down and went back to the known good bridge and there i spotted the problem with the BR not enough forward travel - to get it right the screws are in the trench between the mount plate and bridge plate

sure i can modify the guitar to make it work but it is supposed to fit a strat - the guitar is a MIJ

OK, I see. What gauge of strings are you using?

If it were me and I was keeping the super Vee on, I'd fill in the existing holes and move the whole new bridge closer to the neck.
From the looks of it, it has been wrongly installed in the first place (not as uncommon as you might think) because there is what looks to be too big a gap inbetween the original trem and the scratchplate, here is mine with no intonation problems

I agree with your comments - that gap between scratchplate and bridgeplate looks larger than it should be.
The edge of the trem unit should be up against the scratchplate.
