I want a Jeff Beck Strat, but the limited color selection is keeping me from pulling trigger. Does Fender plan to offer any other color variations in the future? The MIdnight Purple re-issue would be cool....

I just bought a Jeff Beck signature neck and plan on building the guitar as similar as I can to what he actually plays. But a lot of that is a mystery or I haven't found it.

The funny thing is is that I complain about the lack of colors too, but I'm probably going to put an Olympic White or Arctic White body because I want to use this sweet relic american flag pickguard that has been waiting for the right guitar. It would look best on white and serve its main purpose of getting under the skin of my Canadian wife. :)

I was happy when the American Deluxe v neck came out in surf green. The wait was really, really long when I tried to order the Jeff Beck in that colour.

Jeff's personal stage guitar is actually different than the regular and teambuilt artist signature series. The differences are a 1993 fat baseball neck, a set of Suhr-designed custom-wound stack humbuckers and the old Wilkinson roller nut.
