Sriracha is nasty! That kind of hot is not my kind of hot. I love chilles and Indian food but that sriracha has something about it.... :? I also have seen people using that in Asia a lot, but then I guess it is made over there. It will cause a real fire-storm-buring in and coming out.

I thought it tasted better than the usual hot sauce. It didn't seem to be significantly hotter. There are much hotter peppers out there. I have used up about half a bottle so far (my 1st) on all kinds of foods. I love it and am never going back to the over vinegary stuff.

All my Strats are hardtailed and I wouldn't use a repairer who insisted on making it float.

There's a very good argument for hardtailing guitars - I often bend the G string up a tone while fretting unbent notes on the B and high E strings. With the trem set to float, the bridge lifts under the added tension of the bend, the E and B go flat and the whole thing sounds out of tune.

Yeah I make sure that my springs are tight enough that no bend will lift the trem at all.
Best way to fly, the tone and sustain greatly improve you can hear it unplugged the best.
A floater has no acoustic properties but a flat trem the whole guitar resonates.

Clapton maintained that he preferred the vibrato bridge decked as opposed to a true non-vibrato bridge in that he was of the opinion that , even though inactivated, the system lent something to the tone of the guitar. I'm sure we've had this Clapton discussion elsewhere over the years. The one thing no one, including A.R.Duchossoir, has failed to supply is the explanation as to why the design of the new Signature Strat has maple wood block between the vibrato's bridge block whilst the old 'Blackie' never had one. :?:

Have you ever noticed that there are sweet spots on a Strat with the springs tight? It is like some notes cause a harmonic resonance with the springs. Really weird but you can hear it both unplugged and plugged. One of the things I like about Strats.

Capsacin, the active agent in peppers, is widely used in pain research as a noxious stimulant. I personally do not see the enjoyment in partaking of any food substances whose purpose it is to cause me harm.

Yes, and that's one reason that I like it that way. The pups pickup the sound from the springs and it adds to the guitar harmonics in a pleasant way. It does seem to make a better sound with a good steel block as opposed to an inferior one.
