Yeah it was a Korean C&G knock off wasn't it?


I thought it was Mexican but yes it was a knock off of the G&G - I had a black tolex version with a 1998 American Deluxe and a tweed version with a 1999 AV '62 - both cases were pretty flimsy and prone to warpage.

I called fender, this guitar didn't leave the factory as a Loan star strat it left as a standard. I even sent the link to the rep who looked at it.

having second thoughts!

Well if it's a nice player that gives you more room to negotiate the price down. Since it's modded and missing the case maybe you can get the seller down to $600 or less.
