American Standard should be all built in USA .

Pickups speck ? Fender never write anything about on their catalog.

I read that here , don't know if it right ;

American Strat pickups are medium-output pickups with AlNiCo 5 magnets. The middle and bridge pickups have a no-load tone pot to make it a little hotter than the neck.

The bridge pickup is also wound a little hotter.

The middle pickup is RW/RP to make the 2 & 4 switch positions noise-cancelling.

All three pickups have plastic bobbins and plastic insulation on the connection leads. They are indeed Alnico V magnets, and the plastic bobbins allow you to safely adjust the pole heights if you so desire (they're just held in by friction and the wax potting -- they're a little hard to move at first until you crack the wax).

All three are wax potted.

I forget what sort of insulation the coil wire has. I also forget what gauge the coil wire is.

Many sources say the production of the AmStd pickups moved to Mexico sometime in the first decade of this century (many of the AmStd parts are made in other countries -- pots, switch, tuners).

I believe they used to call the Standard's pickups Delta Tone.

I know my 2011 Standard had Tec-Mex single coils and a Diamondback humbucker. I cannot remember what the SSS models has; however, They are AlNico 5 magnets.
