Hi Guys,
I'm new here so first I'd like to say hello ;)
Here's my issue: after some time of playing with string bending (something about 30 minutes) those little screws from the bridge (saddle) gets screwed and strings are lower. It causes loss of sound while bend. Can you imagine bridge regulation after 30 minutes of concert? What should I do to solve it? Should I send the guitar to the service?
Thank's a lot,
Peter

Bridge saddles screw need to be unscrew to lower strig action not screw !

Right ?

After your playing , you need to turn the scew clocwise to have you original strings action ? That's what you do each time you play ?

I never see that , I can't understant how this can appenened. Are you sure you see that ?

Yes, my bad ;) after I play I have to turn the screw clocwise to have the original strings action. To be clear - it happens only with the string I bent.
And of course - I'm sure that I have to elevate them really frequently ;)

It's something like that: (this time I've lowered strings by myself ;)):

And then (after bending):

That's what you said , and it is incredible

I realy can't understant why this happend .

Defective screw hole ? Need to put some lock nut stuff .

IMO screw need more than some bend to loosen , maybe it need some sound frequency to unscrew ?

Something looks wrong with the threads of the saddle screw on the treble side of that saddle. It almost looks like the thread pitch is wider above the saddle than it is below. Perhaps the screw isn't backing out but rather the saddle is "walking" down over the bad threads. You could try a replacement screw or saddle.

I have seen this once before, strange as that may sound and what you say here was the problem in the end. (Note: it was a strat'a'like guitar I was fixing).

The fix was to replace the saddle and the screws.

When I had a problem with my Strat, I took it to an Fender repair center and the problem was fixed. The Fender repair center was also my Local Fender guitar dealer. It should not cost you anything to have your guitar fixed. It sounds like somthing is wrong with the saddles or bridge.

I've had that happen. Usually it was just one screw on a saddle. After readjusting, so that the saddle was level, the pressure from the string kept it from happening again.

One could use a little lock-tite on thread. After playing it for some time, the sweat and dead skin cells will act like lock-tite and stop it from happening.

Nail polish is less expensive and easier to apply than Loctite and works just as well for saddle screws.

As far as I know, American Specials have urethane finishes that won't be damaged by stray Loctite or nail polish, but a note of caution for people with nitro finished guitars -- nail polish is nitro and will instantly damage a nitro finish if you spill/drip any. (Not sure about Loctite, but if it has solvents in it chances are it's not good for nitro.)

BTW, it's looks like the six screws holding the bridgeplate to the body are badly misadjusted.

Look here for instructions on how to adjust those screws:
