FSR American Standard in Surf Green. Thank you to Fender for finally pumping out a few in this color. Setup out of the box is dead perfect which is unusual for a Strat (though I will be putting 10s on very soon). I've avoided getting a new American Standard Strat recently because I feel the stock pups have been lacking in recent years, but these 50s are a respectable upgrade and quite fitting.

The picture has a hint of Sonic Blue due to the lighting, but it's Surf Green. Get 'em while you can!

Surf Green, aged white plastic parts, rosewood neck = lots of Jeff Beck flavours into the mix! :) (minus the noiseless pickups, LSR nut, locking tuners, shaved neck heel, straplocks and American Series bridge.)

When did they start making these? I just bought a American Special in Surf Green but I would have preferred the Standard. :(

I received the latest G.C. catalog about 12 days ago, and it was in there. Then I found them on M.F.'s web site shortly after that. I'd say they began shipping only within the last 3 weeks or so.

I found these at GC last week...a very seductive combination of cool colors and tasty pickups.

Cheers.

These guitars would look much cooler with a matching headstock.

Is there a 30-day return policy?
