Every time I see Roger McGuinn live(just saw him two weeks ago!), I am re-inspired to play my electric 12 strings! My Rick is "McGuinn" Mapleglo(though NOT his model) and I use a Janglebox to get "that" sound with all of them. All of mine have different enough sounds to make it interesting. The Strat XII was a very good purchase!

An electric 12-string adds a lot of tonal versatility to a guitarist's sonic palette and its voicings allow for authentic replications of some very familiar rock compositions.

I've never regretted buying my Strat XII but a Rick 330/12 or 360/12 just looks so damn cool onstage......

It is true. I have never heard any chorus device that comes close to replicating the sound of an electric twelve string. The great thing about the Janglebox is that it can take any model of electric twelve and give it that Byrds type sound. For anyone who hasn't seen his solo shows, I highly recommend seeing McGuinn in concert. The first time I saw him come out on a small stage, playing the Rickenbacker 370/12 RM for "My Back Pages", I felt I had finally reached the Holy Land!! :D

I saw the Byrds live at the Monterey Pop Festival -- they were truly awesome in concert.
