I've got a MIM tele and it has a ding on the top edge. Not a big deal but I'm afraid if I catch it just right with my shirt or something, it could pull the finish off. Any ideas how I could repair the ding so it will be smooth and won't catch on anything?

Thanks!

Personally, I leave all dings alone. They just add character to your axe. If it's grabbing your shirt and that bothers you, you can sand it down and hit it with some poly. Or just sand it down and leave it as is. Either way it's really no biggie. Since it's a MIM it might cost you as much to have it professionally repaired as it cost to buy it.

I hate dings too but I just leave them... unless your a pro at refinishing, it will look worse if you try to cover/fix it!
