Hi guys!

I'm about to buy a strat, but some things on the pics seem a bit strange to me (the letters on the neckplate, the headstock...). Would be great if you could help me out!

The truss rod hole at the peg head ; I never see a Fender guitar build like that.

Yes lettering are strange too .

Look fake.

Hello,
For me, this is a false pins handle non-compliant, the logo is not the right size, plate handle easily bought on the net.
Submit S / N Fender!
The S / N appears to mean "Corona" Plant, 2006 :?:

In Europe, forgers visits sites guitars and notes the SN on the photos we post.
Then, apply the serial number on a copy and sell it as a Fender.

I concur.

Pass this POS by and save yourself some grief.

Evidently Fender started using both 5 and 6 digit serial numbers in the early 1990s; you'll find 1990s and 2000s Fenders with both 5 and 6 digits after the 2-character prefix. Since Fender switched to their current format in March/April 2010 they have all been 6 digits after the prefix.

That being said the one the OP posted is 100% fake.

Wrong string trees, no 60th anniversary badge on back of headstock and Fender logo is wrong.

Everything we can see. We didn't get a good look at the body, trem, or electronics.
