Hello, professional saw my guitar and asked if the original color was.
It is true that I have not seen the Classic 50s olympic white nowhere!
Fender had answered me that this color was produced nonetheless.
Does anyone have knowledge of other Classic 50s in this color?
From the photo, I asked Fat 50s and it sounds ... :D

Olympic White was a colour option for the Classic 50s in 2003.

Olympic white, or any other Fender white looks awesome after a couple of years of live playing. Sweat, nicotine and beer stains can really make a white guitar look good. LOL. Had one in the early 90's when I used to tour.

Thank you guys, this guitar second hand seems to be the only one of this color here in Europe!
It was well produced OL few months in 2003.

Beautiful instrument!

It'll only look better as it ages.

Yes, I expected my 50 years for me to offer but it is happiness!
Color, rare on a 50s series attracts alot of curiosity, From the photo, and jealousy of my wife ... that says I have a Mexican mistress!

Thank you for your answers, this guitar is really unusual, registration control buttons are green, like gilding ages, bridges are oxidized.
Fender does not want to meet me on the number of Classic 50s Olympic White produced but nobody in europe not have seen.
This guitar is a mystery to me why the color was interrupted and did I have a rare model?
I have to explain every time the color is original, that Fender has produced 50s of this color, but some seem skeptical about its authenticity!
How to remove the doubt?

Who cares?

Unless you're putting it up for sale on the open market, just play it, enjoy it, and let the ding-dongs and the naysayers simply scratch their heads in wonder.

Rawk on!

Oh no, my guitar is not and never will be for sale!
Arjay, it's just for me it reflects the philosophy Fender, banal and secret and unique at the same time!
It represents to me all that I was hoping for a Strat, and when I made the 300km separating me from it, I was unaware that I fell in love with it to the point to get up at night next, verify its presence because I thought I reversible.
I am aware fortunate to have this Strat be, and nothing in the world I would separate.
At 50, I recall the feeling that one has the Chrismas morning, when it was 5 years!

+1

I remember that feeling though it's been quite some time since I experienced it. And my new project guitar is a '50s Classic Series Strat that will be in a relatively rare (though perfectly authentic for 1956) color once it's completed.

I think you will put some pictures!
Because Stratocaster dice originated, was perfect (thank you Mr LEO!)
I love the 8-hole pickguard, simple, sensitive and symbolic of the year
I'm in love with these legendary Strats years and dreams, not to own one but a touch of Famous Strat!
You animate my curiosity Arjay, I can not wait to see what you've designed

Olympic white is my favorite strat color and they only get better with age. My jimmy Vaughan strat is Oly white and every time I think about selling it I look at and say NFW.

Last year you said the finish was nitrocellulose, and that you had confirmed that by testing it with acetone. Did I miss something since then and it is not nitro? (Nitro would indicate that it' s been refinished, even if Fender did offer that color.)

Correct. FMIC uses polyester on the MIM Classic Series Strats, reserving nitrocellulose lacquer top coats for the Roadworn instruments.
