Im gonna buy in the internet and im gonna bet on proguitarshop.com and i play blues rock some hard rock sometimes alternative rock but mostly blues and slow rock i also want the in between positions to quack like a duck so which guitar would be the best? and is the john mayer start versatile enough for those genre?

I've heard many say that the Eric Johnson signature Strat is the best Strat out there...

Personally, I would go with the Clapton Strat for versitility. You can get very different tones out these guitars.
