I was told this is a Strat Highway One (US), but I'm not sure.
Is there a way to identify the type by the serial number and some pics?

The serial number is: Z5218297

Here are some pics.. sorry, but they don't seem to work as embedded images :(

And can someone estimate its worth?

Thanks a lot!

It very well could be. A good way to be sure is to check the finish. Unless the finish on the body has been buffed out, it will look flat or satin.

It definitely looks like a first generation Highway 1 Strat to me; probably from early 2006 since it has that "60th Anniversary of Fender" medallion (Fender serial numbers overlap; they don't change over on January 1).

They generally go for around $500 in the USA; this one might go for a touch more than that since it's a lefty and it has a hard case.

Hi there,
Serial number tracks back to HWY1 STRAT LH RW HBL Fender Part # 0111120367
Completed 6/15/2006 and sold to dealer in Hawaii 6/20/2006.

Hope that helps.

All the best,
rob

Send the serial number to Fender customer service... Best source there is.... They made them, they keep track of them, they'll know.
