I'm being lazy. Will these fit together?
I'd like to mate a new American Standard bridge plate (with the newer stamped saddles) to an American Deluxe trem block (with the pop-in trem bar).
It eyeballs pretty close but it kind of looks like the hole where the tremolo bar installs is in a different place.
I have a Jeff Beck Strat.

Callaham makes a stainless trem block for the American Standard Strat made for a pop in trem bar and you can use your present bar.

Hi evets618. Erm, am I missing something here? Why do you need to cannibalise an Am Std and an Am Dlx bridge parts? Why not simply fit the bent steel saddles to an American Deluxe bridge and, bingo, away you go?

Cheers - C

The adjustment screws on the American Standard saddles are are in-line with the string, so don't retro-fit onto a Deluxe bridge, on which the string-length adjustment screws are off-set with the string.
Also, I think the tremolo bar hole is in a slightly different place, so the snap-in Deluxe trem block won't mate with the bridge plate from the Standard.
Someone tell me I'm wrong before I get out the tools
Callaham also makes the Vintage styled "CG" saddles for the American Deluxe bridge (also Am. Std.) (offset intonation screw). More research...

Hi again evets618.

Yes. It's true that "vintage" bent steel type saddles with the offset intonation screw are not as easy to come by as they used to be. But...:

Exactly. These:

And if a guy really felt the need to be parted from his cash there's also amazingly costly titanium saddles with offset screws available:

So what's the problem?

No need to go mixing up bridge plates and blocks: that's a needlessly expensive and long way around the issue. Get an American Deluxe bridge and switch in the vintage style saddles that you want.

Sorted - C
