Hi everyone

This is my first strat and I recently bought some D'addario Nickel wound 09's and my Tremolo bridge is raising. Could this cause dammage?

Your new strings have more tension than the old ones, so they pull the tremolo plate up.
Just tighten the springs on the backside of the guitar until the tremolo plate is
a) according to the factory recommendation (= 1/8" =3.2mm) up from the guitar body, or
b) just flat with the body.
I guess you have three springs in place, and that should be just fine with .009 strings.

I'd suggest you read this, helps a lot to understand a Stratocaster:
Stratocaster SetUp Guide

Thank you very much, I was a bit worried since I have no experience with tremolo systems at all, so really thanks
