I have a set of Custom Shop 54's in one of my strats and love them.

Does anyone have both or can share their opinion on the Fat 50's pups.

Thanks a lot!

My 7.25" radius board Strat has Fat 50s and I like them, but I have 54s in another and I like that one too.

I think the Fat 50s have a great vintage and Fender chime tone to them.

More "meat" with the Fat 50's, more "sparkle" with the CS 54's.

I have more experience with the Fat 50's, only played the 54's a few times on a buddy's strat. Based off of what I like, I would choose the Fat 50's - great fender tone with a good amount of oomph.

Both great pickups, though. Depends on what you're looking for

I have a standard strat with CS-69's in it. My American Std came with Fat 50's. Love both of them to death.
