Just ordered a Fender Road Worn 50's Strat from Guitar Center. Bought it used, it was barely played, great deal on it. It is my graduation present to myself, pics to come if you are interested, the feeling of getting a new guitar never gets old! This is going to be No. 2 of my Strats, No. 1 is a '69 Strat.

You need to "relic" those strap locks.

Is that guitar you plan installing the Fender Elite active booster?

You can rewire the first tone knob (middle/neck) as a master tone pot affecting the overall signal.
Clapton's personal guitars no longer sport the TBX circuit.

I'm not doubting you or trying to sound rude, but do you have any proof of this?

When Eric switched to the Noiseless pickups in March 2000 he found the new pickups too muddy-sounding with the TBX.

Other sources reportedly claimed he no longer needed the extra high end provided by the circuit and requested his guitars having a regular tone pot instead.

The Masterbuilt Claptons do not sport the TBX thing.

thanks, I'm thinking of doing the Lace Sensor Gold's because I really like his tone when he had them not too certain though, but definitely putting the boost
