I use the bridge pickup the most, but I also use the other positions too. I use the bridge pickup when I'm in the mood for "surfer" music.

Neck for lead - almost always, bridge for a 'rootsier' rhythm, neck for cleaner rhythm.

Neck, bridge, 4, 2...... I've been bluesin a lot lately :D . A lot depends on the songs I am playing and the vibe that going on at the time. I use them all but, I would say my least used position is the middle alone, but, I have been using it to get a little different bite on my leads lately. The tonal odyssey goes on.
:P

It's the neck pick up for me most of the time.

I will say I have been playing just the middle pick up on my new 62' stratacaster reissue alot lately and have been getting some really great tone. I've only had the guitar a couple of weeks but the pick ups are so much more responsive then my American deluxe with the Noiseless pick-ups.

I use em all these days. I never used the middle on any strat I've owned, but the middle pickup on the EJ is actually great sounding. If I had to choose though I'd say positions 5,4 and 2 get the most use. I use position 1 the least.

Because I play fast switching (you'll find it if you see how Yngwie does it), I only use the neck and bridge pickup. my MIM p/u switch changed with 3 way and I disconnect the middle p/u.

I tend to hang out most on the neck, though when I want a bluesy "pop" I often do 2 or 4. I think I like the neck more 'cuz I like a bit fatter rythm sound most of the time. Iuse the middle when I want a generic sort of sound. Probably the least used for me is the bridge, though I use it a lot too.

Love that little "spank" you get on the 4th position.

I use two and four more than the others... perhaps b/c they are noise cancelling on some of my strats.

I rest my hand on the bridge, so I use the middle and bridge pick-ups.
