Hi,I'm from Turkey.I have an 78 strat.I took it from ebay last year (from a seller %98.7 positive feedback). The seller said ''all original expect for the bridge pickup, with original hard case).I replaced the pots heads, swtich head, pickguard and pickup covers. They were black.I replaced them to vintage white

There is a problem between neck and body vanishing point. The neck slot is too big to the neck,so there is a hole between the neck and body vanishing point.Becouse of this, the minor e string overflows the neck after the 12-13.th fret..

I take the pieces of my strat. Please check it an help me for Are it's parts original or not ?
Sorry for my english.
Here are some images from my strat parts, thanks

Someone else with more knowledge on the real/fake-sector may answer your question, but on that neck/body problem:

The neck pocket in the body has the so called 'mouse ears' - the round corners are made with too big a radius, so the neck is not straight with the body, and sometimes one of the the e-strings may hang over the edge of the fretboard. (I remember reading somewhere that those mouse ears prevent cracks in the finish when they put the neck in place - dunno.)
The solution is simple, just line the neck again so the strings are straight with the neck: when you attach the neck, tighten the screws only after you have the e-strings in place and use them as the guide.
Sometimes you need to shim the neck a little to one side (a piece of wood beside the neck in the neck pocket to turn the neck to the desired direction).

It looks pretty real to me. It also looks like the neck has been stripped of its finish down to where the truss rod is anchored (but not all the way down the neck heel. Maybe it's just my screen resolution. I'm wondering if there are any finish ridges that could also be making it not sit quite right in the body.
