I am told this came out of a 59 strat bridge position. the bottom plate has 52 stamped into it, pole pieces arent staggered and the magnets are too shiny ie ceramic. /thanks
I tried to insert image not working and this darn offsite thing is a pain. Sorry

No - looks like we need to be signed up and logged on to that website before we can view it. Instead perhaps just post the photos here so's we can see what we're talking about...?

Cheers - C

Most of us use Photobucket.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Leo Fender did not use shielded wire with his pickup . This a "modern " pickup not a real 1959

It don't have the look of a 1959 pickup . Did you buy it ? Lots of money ?

Yeah the magnets are shiny I think ceramic, not staggered, wires look modern and baseplate too smooth. I paid $40 bucks. It was supposed to be a duncan antiquities then it morphed into my grandpas pup outta his fifty nine, I wa
S pretty shure it was not a 59 just curious what its out of.

Doesn't look like any Fender pup, and I've never seen anything like that in any Fender Strat, not even Mex. I believe that the Duncan Antiquity has staggered magnets (lower B and E) and doesn't use shielded wire or black covers.

Not bad but look to expensive for a used no name pickups. Where do you want to use this pickup ? If it's low budget PU it do not worth the money to pay a teck to put in a good guitar.

I am adding a single coil to a Parker Fly supreme just needed a pup to fit and finish then going with duncan zephyr texas hot, not shure ifI should use middle reverse wound for my setup, fly has two humbuckers already, routing and adding single coil to middle postion. i want the punch like STEVIE Ray gets and from what I have read he used 59 pups and a dummy coil to cancel noise. So I am going to go with Duncan JBJ and JNJ Zephyrs and Atiquities Texas hot Zephyr in middle. Hope to get some amazing sounds from guitar. You know the strange thing about this pup is it has 52 stamped into it. decided to keep it, I have to test it out to check its position, ieneck bridge or middle. Thanks for the help.
