I am looking for some opinions on this body. Please see the photos. Here is what I can tell.

The photos show the color pretty accurately. I don't think it is Sherwood Green. It is lighter and more metallic. In the neck pocket it is stamped "Feb 6 AM" and the number 055246. Trem is not a two point. Inside the body is a sticker under the clear coat with a bar code and the number M00450506.

On the pickguard is the shadow of stickers. You can't see it on the photos but I added an image that I found online that is exact in size and shape (not the flag part). This is a photo of an American Series. I don't think my body is an American Series because it does not have the two point trem and the images of the Am Series that I find all have the two point tremolo system.

I am stumped. Fender responded to my email saying they have no way of identifying just the body of a guitar because, as we know, the identifying information is on the neck.

Any of your input would be welcome.

Thank you,

Mark
