Hi there!

I havent posted for a while...

Well, just wanted to show you the sounds of my 68 Reverse Stratocaster through... A micro cube! This amp is amazing for home. I run some pedals like fulltone deja vibe 2, cry baby, danelectro cool cat vibe and a bad monkey.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G37THp53 ... ata_player

I hope you enjoy it, and please let me know what do you think! Some people hate the stock pickups, but i personally love the low output and i actually think that they have some nice mojo...

Bye!

Cool playing!
Question: Why would you run a Dano Cool Cat vibe (had one...pretty decent) and a Fulltone Deja 2 (own it....excellent!) in the same chain?
The Fulltone is the pedal the Dano is trying to emulate, so why have both?

68 Reverse.....is that a custom shop model?
I have a heavily modified MIM 60's Reverse Special that I just LOVE!
I got rid of the 7.25" radius Maple neck and put on a Highway One Lefty Rosewood 9.5" radius neck.
I also have this stuffed with DiMarzio Area pickups....58(n), 67(m), 61(br.) and Fender/Schaller Locking Tuners.

Thank you so much dude! You dont realise how much that means for me... I used to post youtube vids some years ago (my playing was AWFUL, but i couldnt realise it) so i got mostly negatives... Now im actually frightened about posting stuff in youtube...

I remember you, i always read your comments including that AWESOME modded reverse, i love it! Mine is the 60 reverse, completely stock except the pickguard... I remember that you said you hated its pickups... ,Well, i love them, that low output... Just amazing! :D

The pedals... My cool cat is modded, with quality smd components and without that volume boost, i dont know how it sounds stock, but i actually prefer this over the deja vibe 2, for my taste its more trippy and juicy!
Yes, it sounds fake, it thins a little the sound and compresses it, While the deja vibe 2 boosts the signal a bit and makes it fatter... But i love the cool cat tone, it just makes me play more Lol! Totally different mojo... Although yes, the fulltone its fatter, real and very rich sounding, and sounds best with a cranked tube amp (what dont? Hahah)

I saw your videos some time ago... I hope if i still practicing, i could play that red house cover that way... Awesome... Maybe some years? Lol

Thank you!
Well...running the risk of shameless self promotion....here's the video that you spoke of.
This is with the old neck and a different pickup combination.....
