Wow, that one looks so close to a real one, except the relic - you should better get out the... no, don´t do it that is one awesome looking guitar.
But it faded a little already, cool.

All the best,
Robin

Had emailed Bacchus for their Vintage series recently.

The folks kindly told me Deviser stopped making guitars and basses with Fender-styled headstocks long time ago.

They stopped the Vintage Series years ago now. The Classic Series came along in 2010 and has only recently stopped production on those. They both had Fender and Gibson headstocks.

You can still get some Global Series guitars with "correct" headstocks. Both Classic and Vintage Series guitars can be readily found on YJ.

Or, you can go up another notch in the Deviser belt and get yourself a Momose :)

Your Bacchus axe has a 22-fret neck giving a nice modern touch, a feature early '60s Strats lack off.

I picked up that puppy last night and had a pretty long go at her, she's just deadly-the DiMarzio pups really have a punch to them but the guitar still has the very desireable quack and bell-like chime in it when played clean.I'd say that Blinkers will be keeping this one as there aren't many guitars that sound as great as this one does when played clean, yet you can still coax out some excessive raunch when the mood calls for it.I offered him my 50th Ann. Strat for it even swap but he wouldn't go for it and I don't blame him because it really is an exceptional guitar. The build quality and attention to detail is really obvious because even though it was shipped dismantled,it went together just right and didn't even need as much as a truss rod adjustment.

Blinkers has bought some great guitars from Japan the past few years such as Orville by Gibson,Orville,Bacchus,Edwards etc. but this MIJ DiMarzio Strat is the best one yet.

Deviser's STR series includes beautifully crafted exotic "singlecut" ERBs!

Blinkers dropped by with the new Strat yesterday and we played her through my 1983 JCM 800-2204 stack and she sounded incredible. With the neck and middle pups engaged and on a clean setting Little Wing rang out just like chimes-simply captivating. With a little bit of dirt Spanish Castle Magic sounded spot on like the original-that's a true sign of a great Strat there, when these two songs can ring out with the tone of the original recordings. All Blinkers needs to do now is to find a nice 2204 stack-I saw a nice JCM 800-2204 head on the reverb.com site last night for just $1,999 and a nice 70s 1960A cabinet with Celestion G-12-T-75s for just $950-that's a start.

This one has a thin nitro finish so it should relic naturally fairly easy :D

There isn't much of a chance of the guitar getting natural U.V. fading with all the foggy weather we've been getting lately-you'll have to book a few sessions for her at the suntan parlour....lol.
