It looks real to me - the swimming pool rout like that was used until circa 1999 on American Standards, so that looks right for a circa 1996 Strat (as do the flat polepiece pickups, etc.).

If your American Standard is a 1996 model then it should have a TBX tone circuit for the bridge/middle pickups and a regular tone pot for the neck pickup.

The change to the DeltaTone pickup system occurred the following year.

It is real. The holes in the body are the various anchor points Fender used to hold the body on routers. And please remove the black screw that got stuck in the bridge PU.

The routing under the pickguard is correct for a 1996 Strat. It's called, "The swimming Pool," and was changed back to 3 routes when the American Series was introduced in about 2000.

The HSH rout was introduced in 1998 with the American Deluxe Series which replaced the Plus line.

A few transitional American Standards and some Artist models got an HSH pickup routing circa 1998/99.
