Any hints on the size of truss rod wrench for a 1990 Mexi Strat? Ordered one from Stewart MacDonald and received a big flat head which definitely does not work. Looks like an Allen wrench, unsure of the size. Thanks, Nick

Good quality Allen wrench should fit tight . I have only American made Fender.

Big flat head is for vintage style truss rod on body guitar side.

I know why Stewmac send you this big flat head , their pages said incomplete information ;

"Truss rod wrench for Fender "

They must write ; for VINTAGE truss rod ONLY

www.stewmac.com/shop/Tools/Wrenches/Tru ... ender.html

I don't know from where you are , in USA or Canada , bring your guitar to any Home Depot or good Auto Parts and try some Allen wrench.
