Yeah, a lot of comprehension problems and hate here.

My CS Charvel still plays nicer than my Fenders, which also do play really nice.

And, I think I have Fender covered in my lineup well enough...

edit: Oh, and the white Fender Stratocaster is really a real rear loaded one hum Floyded Factory Special Order guitar. Looks a lot like a Charvel, doesn't it?

@ xenophobe Still lovin that MIJ LA 80's Type Limited Run Strat!, tho' I liked it more with the chrome h/ware :D

This one!!, Perfect! Without the 'tat' inlays, signature on headstock and just needs vintage kluson type tuners like the Floyd equipped MIA classic strat/MIJ HRR Strat. Don't get me wrong, I love Sambora's playing/vocals, especially on his solo debut album 'Stranger in this town' Fantastic album!http://socalmusicexchange.com/les_pauls_richie_sambora_stratocaster.jpg C'mon Fender, produce this guitar with vintage tuners and NO stars!, Non Recessed Floyd, Contoured body/neck heel, 22 fret 1 piece Maple neck/rolled edge board, Boost switch, Cream/White body= Absolute Win!

Ignorance. It's a man in a dog suit from a TV show called Wilfred. My apologies that you can't afford basic cable. Maybe mommy can run a cable line to your basement, providing you actually have a TV to watch it on. Seeing how you feel some need to show off by listing your collection as your sig, you should be able to afford one, or steal one from someplace. Still, if all you have is a Line 6, maybe you can't afford a TV.

I thought it was too shiny that way... you still have dibs if I ever decide to sell. lol

Here's another really nice Strat I own... I still haven't taken any really good shots of it, but here are the pictures from Ishibashi, where I bought it from. Very rare ESP Custom Shop Strat made in Craft House where they make all the sculpted guitars. It has a very vintage style neck relief with a rare N serial prefix:

It's absolutely hilarious that you're so offended that someone's best Strat outplays any Fenders they actually own.

I'm sorry for having offended your inner Zakk Wylde. I'm sure his choice of guitars is much more acceptable to you than some Sammy Hagar wanna-be.

What's up with the rhetoric & sarcasm on this thread?!

Dude, if you don't like the type of 'Strats' that we like, then don't say anything. It's not a tool measuring contest. Donnycraven, No one asked for your sarcasm or negative comments towards me or xenophobe.

Whats Frusciante's sunburrst one?
I heard that a few times acoustically, and it is sweet. Plus when I have heard through the stadium PA its like wooooo.

Also like 82 Dan Smiths. Shopping for one at the moment. Massive difference in sound with the 83 scratchplate jack ones, despite the pickup similarities.

I think the EJ strats are nice. Perfect mix of new tech and old feel.

I have owned 5 Strats, still have 4 of them and have played too many to be able to put a number to. Of all the Strats that I've played,it would be hard to pick a best one because I've played so many that were just sublime and I've played a few dogs too. There is one era of Strats though that I've found has the most pleasing tone and are the most comfortable players, those are the L series Strats that were made from '62 - '65. The L series Strats with the shallow C profile B neck were the most comfortable that I've played and the pickups of the L series impart the tones that I find most desirable.Jimi Hendrix used L-series Strats for his first 2 albums and that's what gives "The Wind Cries Mary", "May This Be Love", "One Rainy Wish" and "Axis Bold as Love" their beautiful chiming tones and also gives "Are You Experienced" it's powerful guitar tones.I have a '65 Strat that was among the last of the L series and it's just an incredible guitar.A good L series Strat will set you back at least $12,000 for a decent player these days, but if I had the bucks,I'd fill my music room with them.

I still like my Jimmie Vaughan Strat a lot, it does everything I want it to and then some!
