I know the year and that its made in mexico, but I'd like to know more. Any information that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

Well, as you'll see below, this is a GC run from 2008........but you will also note that it isn't discontinued technically either. Yours was completed in 2010 according to what i have.. June 1 to be exact...and shipped to GC 6/29/2010.

Thanks Shimmi,

Yeah, she's quite the looker but a bit on the heavy side. Heavier than most strats for sure. I have an Amer. Dlx strat, also ash, but no where near as heavy as this one. I had heard about there being heavy ash guitars, well now I own one. :lol:

One more question, anything special about these pickups? Doesn't look like they are any of the more well know pups(tex specials, fat 50's, etc). I ask cause now I'm thinking of replacing them. I've been looking all all types and brands. I want a nice meaty sound out of the humbucker and a classic fender sound out of the single coils. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
