yep...it's or was..an american standard guitar 2009..I don't have that maple neck anymore.
After appears some air bubbles under the paint and don't ask me i really don't know why maybe weather...so i just finish i age the body with sandpaper..scissors whatever i like much more now...here's the same guitar sound record yesterday..

So your guitar in its final form resembles pretty much to Doyle Bramhall II's battered sunburst axe.

Essentially it's a right-handed version of Doyle's guitar.

Yeah sure chromeface, the Doyle Bramhall is a beatiful strat reminds me the new clapton signature brownie' lot yellow in the paint i really love this kind of sunburst color true vintage appearance..but mine is more like popa chubby guitar:

I agree! Would be interested to see the wear patterns on modern day American guitars and MIM in years to come- because of this they will be different :)

Dude, I think it looked good to start with but if you like it as it is now, that's all that matters.

Whatever anyone things of it, you clearly love this guitar, have put a lot of effort into it and are proud of what you've achieved. I'd be tempted to break out the muriatic acid and get the saddles, bridge plate, jack plate, neck plate, strap buttons and tuners looking a bit older too - I think that would finish off the look you're going for.
