Yes, fretboard is nearly rounded like a tele at the last fret, the numbering is not right, the pickguard is a eight hole, nothing looks right. Even the headstock shape looks wrong...

Look at this examples....

Classic Series 50's Strat

Classic Player's 60's Strat:

American Standard Strat:

Notice the location of the logo in comparison..

That has got to be the worst attempt I've ever seen at faking a logo, and SN#. Don't even give that a second look. Part of me is hoping this is a joke.

The 12th fret dot spacing tells all.

At best it's a Squier -- at worst, a total mongrel.

Either way, it's nothing worth the effort to write a check for.

I like the Sharpie'd-in "Stratocaster". I don't know anything at all about guitars and I know this is fake haha

If I were you, I would only purchase your guitars from authorized dealers or do more research before you buy another guitar.

The Fender website and this forum are good places to start. Books on Fender guitars are very helpful as well.

If you were to send that guitar through a wood chipper, I'd bet you could salvage quite a few toothpicks.

that's the funniest thing I've seen for a while - thanks for sharing!

I'm a mischievious bugger, so I'd be tempted to buy it just for a laugh, take it into Denmark Street shops for an exchange to see the look on folk's faces as I deadpan just how rare and legit it is! It's almost certainly a super-rare Custom Shop pre-production mock-up/preprototypethingamabob, hardly ever seen for sale.

Worth £15k++, easy :twisted: :P

ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

if you couldnt tell this was a fake just from the headstock 'logo', i dont think you should be risking looking for a second hand guitar.

Agree - this has to be a joke. Along with the last one you posted here viewtopic.php?f=6&t=84423&p=951473#p951473

However, if you genuinely believe these are real Strats you a need to do a ton of googling and learn what a real Strat looks like before even thinking of buying used.

Would be faster to point out what could randomly be right with this clown guitar.

I immediately spotted some ridiculous things like serial number written apparently with marker or logo looking like sticker, but yeah, I guess asking if it was a fake has to be funny or even dumb question for someone who is already acquainted with Fender guitars. Im total beginner in that, but I've got some precious knowledge from these threads thanks to Fender users. Thanks guys.
