Plywood bodies do not make for well done "relic" guitars.

If he'll let it go for $50--consider it, but then again, the only thing that might do is keep him from ripping off somebody else--at your expense.

(And there's a good chance you'd wind up replacing the hardware, pickups & wiring--so even that $50 may not be a great deal-unless you're looking for something to learn how to do mods on, or to try & learn refinishing.)

Is this guy from SaltLake city (no offense to you Salt Lakers?? Tried buying a USA Strat body from a guy in Salt Lake. Got a plywwod body with a bath-tub rout. Told hime he was full of ****. FINALLY contacted a REAL human being at Ebay after I had called Fender in Scottsdale, AZ. USA Fenders never used plywood bodies with a bath-tub rout. He's no longer a sller on Ebay.
What you have here in the pics is a Korean, China, or India made Squier Stratocaster. Period. Go online and see what Guitar Center is asking for their Squier Strats. At least he didn't try putting one of those B.S. headstock decals on it and asking $1800 for it!!!!

Look go to MF or GC and get a squire before you even consider this thing. I've mentioned before an Aria I used as a stage flash paper gimmic and they are plywood and the paint would come off of that thing at a drop of a hat and the tone was horrble even after installing a better pick-up I just can not say enough about the disdain I have for plywood guitars unless you are using them to trash on stage
