I'd call $400 a steal!

Making future plans here but should I put some news Pick Ups in? I heard the ones that are in the instrument are not all that great. I was thinking maybe something like this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Genuine-LAC ... 460d181db0

What do you guys suggest?

First guitar looks real. Second one is a partscaster and not worth $600.

How do I add pictures? I want to show you guys my purchase! Also, I just emailed consumer relations at Fender and they gave me a spec sheet, it seems to all work out to what I wanted except that the nut width is 42mm instead of the 40mm, anyone have any knowledge on this?

You must post your pic(s) on a 3rd party site, such a Photobucket (free and simple to use). Presuming you choose Photobucket, after posting your pic(s) there, and then selecting a pic, to the right is a list of Image Links, select "IMG code" (it will then indicate, "Copied"). "Paste" your image (IMG code) within this Forum.

Assuming the pickups produce a tone that's pleasing, there are some upgrades you might consider (assuming they haven't already been performed). Specifically, installing all US-spec electronics and wiring. It's been my observation with the MIJ/CIJ Strats that they all benefit from CTS pots, CRL switches, and Switchcraft output jacks. As well, check to ascertain that the trem block is real steel.

HTH
