I have been looking at the American Deluxe Strats and have been noticing some differences.

I see some have roller nuts and some don't. Some have push push volume knobs, Some have a little push button between the tone knobs, etc.

Most importantly to me, if you have one can you post some pics of it, tell the year and some details on them. I am lusting after one of these and want to make a good choice.

Thanks,
Eddie

I assume you mean if we own a "current" issue AD Strat. I've had several but none newer than '04.

Here's the rule of thumb for roller nuts: You usually see them on HSS Strats. I don't know if I've ever seen one on an SSS Strat. The push button volume knob is for S1 switching which I never found very useful when I had one. The other little button is called Passing Lane and it is an equally pointless waste of time, IMO. If I need to use the bridge pup I know exactly where the selector switch is.

YMMV

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
