Very nice :D I was suprised to se the intonation was pitch-perfect except the low E string when I bought it. I initaly thought it would need a truss-rod adjustment but it looks perfect from the side so I raised the strings and now I only get some fret-noise at the 13th - 15th, maybe that's down to my lack of technique on solid body guitars, I have only played on my Ibanez AK95 before this one.

Got some advice from different threads on here and other forums as to which one I would get so I decided to go for this one, I don't really know the difference (still!) with this soft V neck and my other regular C shapes, the only difference seem to be around the top of the neck but I don't play up there, I play down at the 5-21st usually.

Anyway,
I've made up a goal for myself, I've only played guitar for about 1 year and 1 month but I'm gonna learn "Voodoo Child" (SRV verision) flawlessly until the end of the year, wish me good luck! haha, I'm a fast learner. + I never use picks so it will be a challenge learning how to use one as well.

P.S. The standard strings feel a bit .. thin? .. or is it just me being used to thick roundwounds?

It might be more helpful to do a course, to learn guitar. Trying to learn by just doing songs is all fun, but it's also the longer way round, and can be more frustrating.

That approach will only teach you those songs by memory, not how to learn the techniques required, the notes you're playing, or the basics of learning chords and being able to change them.

I'm already studying music theory at college through the internet and I've been playing scales a couple of weeks now, so I'm not only doing that, that is only a side-mission for me this year :)

BTW

I have serious buzz issue with my 50s CP...
The 2nd and 4th position is supposed to be silente yes? Every single position there is buzz and if i put it in 2nd and 4th while touching the bridge + connector cover for the cable the buzz goes away. What should I do?

Shield the cavities with copper tape if it's bad.

single coils will always have a little background buzz. It's why they invented hum buckers.

In my opinion, this is as "real" as a Stratocaster gets. Looks, feels, and sounds like I'd imagine a real 50's Strat would sound. Best made Strat by Fender below the Custom Shop/Artist Models.

If you are getting buzz and the relief looks good a slight bow, the neck can be shimmed to give you a better angle. Then you'll have more room to change the action without buzz.
