Post subject: Help identify my Strat please

This time, I have pictures. Hopefully I can post them properly. Notice the head, the bridge, and the 22 frets.
To me, everything seems to be a contradiction.
The guy I had bought it from claimed to have only changed the pickups. He had changed the pick guard, and, put in a couple humbucker type pickups. First thing I did was put it back to what I thought was original. I used some hot ceramic pickups I had lying around.
Anyway, the body cavity beneath the pick guard is a rectangular box shape.
Any ideas?

I wonder why someone would put a 2007 Highway neck on a 1990 Standard body.
Oh well, it plays well and looks pretty
Do you think the $325 I spent on it was too much?

Probably because the previous owner preferred the large CBS headstock over the small '50s style of the Standard (it's my personal opinion).

In his place I'd buy a Squier Standard Strat which has all those features.
