Hi guys!
What kind of capo does the SG player use at it´s first fret?
It´s so thin that it seem to be a bigger fret.
Does anybody know it?

to me it looks like a temp fret installed, that has not been trimmed.
if you look close and pause the video you can see it sticking out of the neck.

I don't know what Rossington uses these days. When he originally recorded it in '73, he stuck a screw driver in there between the nut and the first fret to raise the action because he couldn't play slide without having the slide clink against his frets. In later years, he would continue to stick something (maybe a large piece of fretwire, don't know) under the strings as he says "for sentimental reasons". I've seen/read a few interviews where he discussed this so I'm sure if you google Gary Rossington and "Free Bird" you can probably find the information you're looking for.
