I bet you want some DiMarzio Super Distortion Strat (SDS-1) pickups.

You will end up getting a different response from just about everybody that answers you.
There are lots of good pickups out there and lots opinions on which ones are the best.

That's like asking everyone what their favorite food is so you know what to eat.

There are soooooooooo many different ones, all with different characteristics.

It might help to know...
- what you don't like about your current ones, exactly
- what/who you want to sound like
- what amp you have (affects tone more than the guitar)
- how much you want to spend...

Hi Bulldog

At the very least, you're gonna need to give some idea of the type of sound you are after. What kind of music do you play?

Narrow the field a little for us. Give us a clue.

Cheers

What amp are you using? What kind of guitar tone are you going for, and what kind of music are you playing? How sensitive do you like your guitar to be?

The best ones are the ones YOU like the best that you can afford.

My choice is a JB Jr on the bridge (with a volume fader for the inner coil), a silver lace in the middle, blue lace on the neck. I play a lot of different styles and, for me, this is the best combination - and I've tried a lot of different pickups over the years.
