Hello from Greece

I have a mexican strat 99` model midnight blue ( I would tell more purple than blue )

Its my first guitar so I fell that i want to upgrade it , not because I have problem with the stock style it has , but its my first guitar so it has a great place to my heart..

So I bought a ritchie sampora pickguard and an eric clapton mid boost...

Now I dont know what to do with the tremolo. I want to replace it more for a better better appearence and not that my tremolos is unstable in tune.

So I found this tremolos which I believe is very good looking... Do you know anything about that tremolo ? Is it stable in tune ? Will it fit well to my 6 screw vintage tremolo ?
What else I have to know ?

http://www.fullcontacthardware.com/fch-strat-tremolo

thank you

It's the early HSS pickguard (2x TX Special/1x DiMarzio PAF Pro) or the later SSS (3x Dual Coil Ceramic Noiseless)?

US Sambora pickguards had a small notch between the tone controls to accommodate the push-push switch which is required to bypass the Eric Clapton mid boost preamp and go to passive mode.

The later version of the US Sambora Strat uses a pair of resistors to reduce the gain boost at 12dB.

I do not have any idea about the trem but you'll probably need a post 2010 US Deluxe pickguard which has the push-push button or drill an extra hole to add a 2-way toggle switch to turn off the Eric Clapton mid boost preamp as shown below.

There are two variations of HSS "Sambora" configs, one with two Texas Special single coils and a DiMarzio Custom PAF Pro humbucker, powered by the same TBX/MDX boost circuits and the other with the same PAF Pro humbucking bridge pickup and two standard AlNiCo singles without active electronics.
