If anyone owns this guitar, I want to know how many springs are shipped in the hardcase the first time you open it ?

I'm about sure I lost one balck spring. I need confirmation.

I have three springs mounted on the strat, and one laying in the hardcase.
I think i still misss one, that i lost ? but i'm not sure....
Any help appreciated.

Thanks.
Largol.

I would think that the trem claw would hold the answer to that unless they are using a vintage claw for everything. The vintage number on the heavy block was 5 on a '58, but I think the '54 may have had only 3.

My CS has a vintage trem and there are 5 chrome springs.

Although my American deluxe is not ash, it shipped with three BLACK trem springs for what it's worth.

I have an Am Ash Dlx.

You didn't loose one...you found one. The Am Ash Dlx comes with three springs.

I just bought an AM ash Deluxe cherry burst and mine came wit 3 springs but I had a good tech do a setup right off. I had my trem. set flat on the body among other things adjusted (a long list) and it is perfect.
